Digital Storytelling

What is digital storytelling and how can we use it in the classroom?
Digital storytelling, in its most basic format, combines an electronic format with graphics and text, as we will explore in this module to tell stories and share information.
Digital storytelling, in general, presents stories and information in an electronic format that embeds graphics, photos, movies, and audio and sometimes enables interaction by the user.

Goals:

Teachers will:

Develop a digital story for use in your teaching practice. (Please develop something that will be useful to you.)

Develop an understanding of fair use, copyright, and creative commons and integrate this knowledge into ethical use.
